Building and maintaining a relationship is hard work. Learning to understand relational dynamics and crack communication codes takes time and intentionality. Every relationship is complex and requires a unique code to unlock it fully. If you are not fully committed to making a communication breakthrough in the relationship, it won't happen.
Good intentions are sadly not enough to crack the Communication Code; you need tools, patience, and persistence. Learning to crack communication codes takes time. There are multiple combinations of codes in almost every relationship. It would help if you were committed to breaking the code to experience real breakthroughs with others.
If you are not proficient in cracking codes or don't have the patience to do so, you will tend not to try.
Either way, there is a prize and a price for unlocking the relational communication codes of others. Some relationships are worth fighting for, even if they hurt a bit. Some relationships aren't worth investing in, even if they make you happy. Some relationships are worth the pain because they teach us much about understanding the other person. You must decide how much time, energy, and effort you give to any relationship.
