Have Some Fun!
All work and no play...we’ve all heard the expression. Having a wide variety of interests not only ensures that you’ll be able to converse with a wide variety of people, but also helps re-energize you for the work that you spend most of your time doing. You’ll be better able to focus on your business if you take a break from it every now and again. Think of it as cross-training for your mind. I’ve worked with people who had no interests outside of work, and I’ve worked with those who are immersed in an array of extracurricular activities.
