It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

This closeup study of cuffl inks was shot wide open at an aperture of f/2.8 on a 105-mm macro lens. Food photographers had set this trend of shallow depth of fi eld in the late 1990s and this was my take on their style.
