With an operating system as large, complex, and functionally rich as Windows Server 2008, the operating system is only as good as the tools available to expose this functionality, configure it, and manage it on a day-to-day level.
Chapter 3, "Installing and Upgrading Windows Server 2008," showed how the Initial Configuration Tasks (ICT) interface helps perform the initial configuration on a server, but this is designed to assist with the questions that are no longer asked as part of the installation process.
