Why paste your resume into the body of your e-mail if you’re going to attach it? It’s all about valuing the recruiter’s time. If you can give him a quick look at your resume without him having to download and open it, you’ve done him a favor. If he sees what he’s looking for in the first few seconds of opening your e-mail, you could be put in the Yes pile (or folder) immediately.
