In managing any business, two key considerations are productivity and quality. These factors relate directly to revenue and profits. The more productive a business is, the more it can produce and sell with a given set of resources and at a given cost. The higher the quality of its products and services, at a given price and set of costs, the more customers it will attract and the more it will sell.
