Town Hall Meeting—One Year Later
If you have put the Lean cost management system (including the Lean P&L and the Lean metrics) in place before the implementation of the Lean principles of value and flow in the plant, then you do not have the human behavior and culture in place to make sure your Lean improvements will keep happening instead of sliding back to where you began. Remember! Value and flow come first, then the Lean cost management system.
