I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
I open my eyes Saturday morning to an awful day—wind and rain. Johanna and David are playing video games.
Heidi comes in and once she sees I’m awake, says, “Hear that? I would reprimand them if I knew what they could be doing somewhere else. Coffee will be ready in a minute,” she adds.
I gaze about the room. Boxes and packing crates are everywhere, just waiting for Heidi and me to unpack them. I look out the window, waiting for the coffeemaker to finish—it was one of the first things we unpacked. Heidi sits down on the bed.
