Chapter 13Realities of the Profession
In this final chapter, it seems time to look at the profession that you have been training to enter, and offer what insight I can into its realities. Designing must be your passion to succeed in this industry. Newcomers are often counseled to not enter the field if there is anything else they could be happy doing, and this is good advice. But with your passion, hard work, a positive attitude, and no small amount of luck, you can find a place in the industry that can be very fulfilling.
