Hopefully by now, you realize that if you simply come up with an awesome project idea and then publish a reward-based crowd funding campaign for it, absolutely nothing is going to happen unless you actively and continuously promote the campaign to drive a steady flow of traffic to your campaign’s web page. In addition, the traffic needs to be composed of people from your target audience who will have a want, need, or interest in your project idea, and will get excited enough about the project to become financial backers.
As with just about everything else related to a reward-based crowd funding campaign, there’s no preset marketing, advertising, promotions, or public relations formula to follow that will guarantee success. Instead, a lot will depend on the scope of your project, your own creativity, how much time and money you have to invest in this aspect of your campaign, your target audience, and your ability to effectively reach your target audience in ways that get them to visit your campaign’s web page.
