Applying for jobs online
We live in an increasingly digital world and, as I mentioned earlier in this book, I readily expect you will possibly be making the majority of your applications by email rather than by post.
Email differs from good old-fashioned snail mail in a number of ways and I will be discussing these differences – and how to handle them – in this chapter.
I’d also like to discuss other ways in which technology might impact on your application, for example the rising use of scanning software.
And I’ll conclude this chapter by discussing ‘the future’ – the future of CVs.
