So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

4.1. Benefits of Copyright Registration
As noted in Section 3.1, registration is not required to have a valid copyright in your work. However, registration does bestow a number of benefits:
Public Record. Registration establishes a public record of your claim as the valid copyright owner of the work.
Lawsuit. Registration is required before you may file a copyright infringement lawsuit against someone who has used your work without your permission.
