3. Data Collection Problems

Like with any task, data collection comes with its share of problems that can lead to issues further down the line. While the following list of issues is by no means exhaustive, it does encompass the most common problems that arise in data collection.

First of all, there’s the issue of data not being recorded properly. This could be owed to anything from human error when inputting data to noisy sensors, depending on the field. This, of course, causes problems because of the garbage in–garbage out principle.
