This principle – a slightly nicer version of “Put up or shut up”—has driven the Drupal community since it was barely big enough to deserve the community label. As the project has gotten bigger, the meaning of code has expanded to something more like contribution, encompassing the essential work of designers, documenters, and trainers without whom Drupal wouldn’t be book-worthy.
