Filling Your Object With Data

You have your data object defined, and the Force Platform-generated pages to interact with that data. But this application, like most, models a process that already exists in the real world. Universal Containers already has locations defined, so it is more efficient and accurate to load data from an existing source rather than have to reenter it all.

The Force Platform environment has two different tools that you can use to load (and unload) data: Import Wizard and Data Loader.

Using Import Wizard

To load data into the Locations object, you can use the Import Wizard, a utility built into the Force Platform Setup menu.
