In this chapter, you learned about one of the most powerful data-driven features of the Force Platform platform—relationships. Although you have probably been using related data objects in your development work for quite a while, the Force Platform automatically adds powerful functionality to your applications based on these relationships.

You can choose to define either lookup relationships or master-detail relationships, as well as implementing one-to-many, or many-to-many relationships.
