Set unrealistic goals

Ever been on a time management course and been badgered about SMART goals? Apparently, we should only have goals that are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timed.

What’s the point of having goals and dreams if they’re realistic? If they were reasonable, ‘achievable’ or ‘realistic’ then they wouldn’t be goals. The whole point of having audacious goals is that they seem unrealistic.

Was it realistic for a young, black, Jewish, poverty-stricken schoolgirl from the toughest housing project in Harlem to think she could win an Oscar? Tell that to Whoopi Goldberg.
