It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
7. Working with Raw Files
Raw file support isn’t limited to digital SLR cameras, but all dSLR cameras include raw image capture. And while most dSLR camera manufacturers also include conversion software, by far the most popular converter is Adobe Photoshop Camera Raw, part of Photoshop Elements and Photoshop CS2.
I touch on the major conversion options here, but the bulk of this chapter is devoted to helping you get the most from your camera and Camera Raw.
