WHY CONDUCT AN EVALUATION?
Congratulations, your play has opened! This text has followed the process a director takes from the choice of script through the final dress rehearsal. There is no chapter on the production itself, because once the rehearsal process is over the director’s role is fulfilled. Directors vary on whether to continue to give the cast notes once the play opens.
