19 In Conclusion
Throughout this book I’ve mentioned many things we would have done differently. Making Musicwood wasn’t a simple swim in the pool; we were often barely keeping our heads above water—and that was even when we were supported by our awesome team.
We wore many hats, my producer and I. So many that often we had spread ourselves too thin and we made some expensive mistakes. But we threw ourselves into the deep end and have now learned how to swim and make sure we use the support of symbolical floats. Joining film groups and finding your people is essential.
