Statista research tells us that the average spend on learning and development is approximately $1,200 per person. Let’s say Amazon pays the $1,200 for all 1 million employees. Even at a staggering $1.2 billion, the projected learning and development cost would only account for 2.4 percent of Amazon’s product spend.
