I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
4. Phone, Contacts, and Calendar
Whereas Chapters 1 through 3 were designed to give you some background and get you up and running quickly with your Droid, this section of the book is a little more hands-on. Now that you’ve got a solid foundation of knowledge, it’s time to turn your attention to productivity—specifically, to the core applications on the Droid.
In this chapter, I focus on three applications: Phone, Contacts, and Calendar. These applications are absolutely essential to communications and productivity. I start with the basics and then show you a few tips that will improve your productivity and hone your skills.
