With the bulk of the development work behind, the goal of the Transition phase is to deploy the solution to its intended user base, which begins by deploying the developed solution into a production environment.
Measurement in the Transition phase is focused on assessing release readiness and wrapping up the project as a whole. This involves a range of different kinds of work:
