When I first thought about recording audio for HD video cameras, I wondered how or why it should be different in any way from recording audio for film or standard definition.

Three years and a number of projects later, I realize that though subtle, the differences are definitely there, and are very real.

Three things that I have found to be most crucial when considering a HD project are:
