The European Digital Cinema Forum (EDCF) is the pivotal organization for all digital cinema interests in Europe.
Aims
EDCF was formed to enable the creation of a technical and business framework for the harmonious introduction of D- and E-cinema in Europe.
The EDCF represents all elements in the chain from content creators through to exhibition:
• The cinema industry – including producers, distributors, exhibitors.
• The industrials – manufacturers, telcos etc.
• The institutions – including government bodies, film institutes, associations, etc.
