HOW TO USE THIS BOOK
Before the Activity
Activities are tools. As with any tool, it is helpful to know when and how to use it. Of course, each activity in this book will have specific directions for use. Just as a hammer is used to drive nails and a screwdriver is used to insert screws, activities also have specific purposes. Every activity is different and every learner is different. It is your responsibility as the coach/trainer to pause and consider the needs of the organization and the individual learners. As the coach/trainer, you must also consider your location, the interests of the group, challenges, and quirks.
