How to Be a Good Witness
There are a number of instructions I give to prospective witnesses. You should review these instructions with your own attorney to make certain she agrees with these recommendations.
The first direction is to tell the truth, but before you can do that you must know the truth. Further, if your attorney does not prepare you for specific questions you are likely to be asked, you must think of the questions you may be asked, especially on cross-examination, and think about the answers you will give. Try to think of the clearest and most powerful way you can answer those questions.
