↓: The “↓” symbol, when placed at the end of a set of displayed fraction digits, emphasizes that there are no more nonzero digits to the right; the fraction shown is exact. The opposite of “ ⋯”, which means there are nonzero digits after the last one shown. Section 3.1, page 26.
