10 SLEEP OR REST WELL

Before you go to sleep, take the time to relax. You could have some hot tea, take a bath, or read. Again, avoid computer work, which tends to put your mind into a high- activity state. You will sleep better when you relax. Carrying tension into your sleep can stay with you and prevent you from enjoying a restful night. If you wake up tired or with aches and pains, it’s most likely due to not relaxing properly the night before. Use exercises to help you sleep (Chapter 4). Make sure you have a clear head.
