CHAPTER 5The Combative Zone

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the main event! In this corner, weighing in at 222 pounds, is the heavyweight champion “News Editor.” And in the other corner, weighing in at 215 pounds, is two‐time undisputed division world champion, “Editor‐in‐Chief (EIC).” Gloves up, boxers! Let's get this match started!

Look at that! EIC is having a field day, just laying into News Editor, giving them a right royal boxing lesson. Each time News Editor tries to jab EIC, EIC flawlessly slips and rolls. Ouch! Look at that uppercut from EIC. I wouldn't be surprised if they knock out News Editor in this third round. One, two, three … oh, my goodness, News Editor is getting up! I can't believe it! How can they sustain this beating? Wait for it—do we see News Editor coming back?

Looks like News Editor is going to play dirty and throw some rabbit punches. We know that's illegal, but how can we blame them? They have taken beating after beating from EIC. Here we go, something new, we have some clinching … let's hope we don't have a Mike Tyson–Evander Holyfield situation on our hands. Ahh, EIC just landed a technical knockout (TKO). News Editor is officially terminated! What a bloodbath!
