SIMPLE PHYSICS TELLS us that shadows point toward the light source that created them. This is great when you’re trying to reverse engineer a cool lighting setup you saw used in the wild somewhere, but not so great when you forget to pay attention to your composition and fall back into “snapshot” mode.
