6. THE EXPOSURE TRIANGLE
THE EXPOSURE TRIANGLE refers to the three key parameters that control the exposure process in the camera: shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. By adjusting any of these settings, we can change our exposure to make the image brighter or darker. However, adjusting any one of these controls not only makes the image brighter or darker, it changes some other aspect of the image, as well.
The shutter speed affects subjects that move; the aperture affects the depth of focus; and ISO adjustments show more or less noise. Don’t worry about the specifics of these right now; we’ll look more closely at each of these in upcoming sections. ...
