So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
33. TRIPOD RAIN UMBRELLA MOUNT
THERE ARE A number of ways to affix an umbrella to a tripod. In the golfing industry, there are commercial products designed to attach to your golf bag pushcart. These basically clamp to the cart handle and hold your umbrella. These are actually a decent solution for photography, and they cost anywhere from $5 to $25. Instead of clamping your umbrella to your golf cart, simply clamp it to a leg of your tripod.
Another solution is to use a photographic articulating magic arm with clamps on both ends. If you buy the compact 11″ models (like the ones used in project 15), you’ll find that they are barely strong enough ...
