PRACTICING GOOD STREET photography requires a magic combination of stealth and brazenness. Though it’s easy to post up across a street and capture a photograph of strangers passing by at a distance, I get all kinds of feelings of nervousness and awkwardness when I want to photograph strangers at a more engaging distance, especially when they figure out what I’m up to!
