Expect and Inspect

Many individuals have a hard time finding the motivation to set the goals we talked about a few weeks ago. This is largely due to the very nature of goals—they are in and of themselves a form of delayed gratification. However, we’ve already learned some tricks about motivation, and now we can use them as we lay out our goals. Remember, goals are things we wish to achieve in the future. The common adage “don’t expect what you don’t inspect” can help you in finding the motivation to set goals that you will accomplish!
