13.1 INTRODUCTION
Digital video capture and playback has become a standard feature in many handheld consumer electronic products. Figure 13.1 illustrates some of the popular, handheld, portable digital multimedia products such as digital still cameras (DSCs), 3G cellular phones, digital camcorders, and personal digital assistants (PDAs). This feature allows the user to capture short video clips in a popular file format such as Apple QuickTime, Microsoft ASF, or MPEG mp4.
