L2 Networks and Rollups
In this chapter, we will look into various topics related to scaling solutions in the blockchain ecosystem. We will start with the concept of Layer 2 networks, which provide scalability by proceeding with transactions off-chain while maintaining the security and privacy of the blockchain. We will also explore different types of Layer 2 networks, including optimistic rollup, ZK rollup, and side chains at a very high level.
This is again an advanced topic and we will be covering only an introduction to L2 and rollups.
