HAND LETTERING
From creative calligraphy to illustrative illumination, lettering is a beautiful way to write and draw words. In hand lettering, the rules of typography are meant to be broken. You can customize letters and words and push the boundaries, developing your own rules and methods as you go. The letterform style in this section is based on old calligraphy styles but do not strictly adhere to the guidelines of traditional pointed pen calligraphy hands, such as Copperplate and Spencerian. It is inspired by masterful letterers of earlier times, but also is thoroughly modern and can be unique to you.
