Stuart Samuelsson’s assistant, Marie Collingwood, called J.C. on his cell phone and said, “Mr. Williams, I’m afraidthat Mr. Samuelsson is not doing very well.”
“I’m sorry to hear that, Marie. What’s wrong?”

“About what?”
“I really shouldn’t even be calling you. I just didn’t know what to do to help him. He’s a decent man… .” her voice trailed off.
