J.C. had just returned from his morning run when the phone in his office began to ring. While he was tempted to let it go to voice mail, he saw the readout on his cell phone: Samuelsson Technology. Stuart Samuelsson, J.C. thought to himself, this should be interesting.

The voice on the other end of the phone belonged to Stuart’s assistant. “J.C., this is Marie Collingwood. Are you available to talk with Stuart, I mean Mr. Samuelsson?”

“Sure, but after I take a shower. I just got back from a run. Does he want to talk over the phone or in person and when?”

“I think he’d rather do it in person. Can you come by sometime today?”

J.C. flipped through his PDA and said, “Sure, let’s say this afternoon, about 2:00.”
