The key to shooting quickly and efficiently is to hire a professional crew and a middle management team (e.g., line producer, assistant directors, unit production manager). The worst thing you can do is to have friends and family fill the positions of professional crew members. A professional crew and middle management team has the experience and knowledge to operate quickly and effectively. They will keep your production running on time and on budget.
