10 The Filmic Moment
One of the great hurdles in screenwriting comes in creating emotionally rich moments. These moments can arrive with or without dialogue. They might be captured in a look, an interruption of time, an unexpected image. Many filmic moments are subtle, so the supporting images might not present themselves immediately. They must be discovered or ferreted out.
