Making the right first impression
What topics are covered in this chapter?
- How to introduce yourself with impact
- What to put into your 60-second pitch for maximum success
- How to present your best online ‘face’
In the last chapter we explored how you can use the FITTER™ model to network efficiently and effectively anywhere and any time. Up to this point in the book, we have been talking about the behaviours, attitudes and ingredients necessary to be successful as a networker. Underpinning these success factors is a networker’s ability to make the right first impression. Without a great first impression, the relationship is going to struggle to start. In this chapter we will look at how to make a great and memorable first impression.
