HOW TO BE AWARE OF OUR OWN BEHAVIOUR WHEN WORKING WITH OTHERS
In this chapter, we will explore how individuals can help or hinder when working in groups and how group dynamics can play out when working with diversity around them. We will learn how to address these dynamics and be more conscious of each other when working in groups.
Groups work in a ‘system’, which is a set of things, or a structure that people are connected to. When bringing together the system and the individual, these then become interconnected, so it is important to look at not just the individual behaviour within a group, but also the system in which they operate.
