ALEXANDER, MARCUS (b. 1968)

One of the directors of the Ashridge Strategic Management Centre who have undertaken pioneering work on Corporate Strategy (see campbell and goold for a description of their main work). Marcus Alexander’s own focus has moved from traditional Western corporate structures to more exotic variants. This partly reflects the growing importance of different regions (such as the Middle East, China and India), but also the growth of different ownership structures in the West, such as private equity and regional clusters.
