G.R. Liu
Dr Liu received his PhD from Tohoku University, Japan, in 1991. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University, USA. He was a Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National University of Singapore. He founded the Centre for Advanced Computations in Engineering Science (ACES), National University of Singapore, and served as the Director of ACES from 1998–2010. He founded the Association for Computational Mechanics (Singapore) (SACM) and served as the President of the SACM from 2002–2010.
