A Better Way to Display – VGA

We’ve been on quite a journey so far. We have come across a lot, starting from understanding basic digital circuits to designing a calculator. We’ve interfaced with external components such as a temperature sensor and microphone. We’ve looked at computer math and even advanced math topics such as floating point operations, pipelined design, and parallelism. However, up until now, we’ve been limited to displaying information using LEDs, single color or RGB, as well as the seven-segment display.
