Foreign exchange or ‘forex’ markets have been opened up to the private trader in a big way thanks to financial spread betting. Forex is one of the most liquid financial markets in the world: literally trillions in currency changes hands every day between banks, fund managers and other participants in the fast-moving world of currency trading.
