2.5 WHITE BALANCE AND JPEG PARAMETERS
A great feature of all X-series cameras is their ability to set white balance [50] and JPEG parameters before you take a shot and after, using the built-in RAW converter. This gives you full control over the JPEGs that are generated in the camera.
It’s not necessary to anticipate and set the perfect settings for each shot in advance because you can generate different JPEG versions of a shot with the internal RAW converter. For example, you could create a version with bold Velvia colors, or a black-and-white version with strong contrast and minimal noise reduction.
