Overview

When first getting acquainted with fundraising, the terminology can be a bit overwhelming. The differences between “planned giving” and “annual giving” may not be obvious, and the purpose of “fundraising cycles” and “donor pyramids” will likely not be clear to people new to the field. This second section therefore introduces several of these key concepts which collectively make up the foundations of fundraising success.
